Smart Dresser made an appearance at The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Grand Opening Open House Family Fun Day in Santa Ana. We got some great feedback from autistic youth and some encouraging comments. There were popsicles, children at play, and friendly faces around every corner. We are honored to be a part of such a joyful event!
Stuff that we are currently working on! Fixing the image sizes on the create outfit page is going to be the trickiest.. We've been struggling with that one for a while. We may have to use a gridview instead of a listview to display the outfit suggestions instead. Either way, quite a bit of backend code will have to change so it's a big group effort!
We would really like the cropping to work on all devices, which means we need to use a crop image library instead of just the default crop action that we just pass into an implicit intent. Because, of course, that would be too easy. Some devices support a default crop action, the newer devices do not...
We also have to fix the weather widget and figure out a way to make it display our custom weather icons instead of the not-as-pretty icons we get from the web service. Our favorites screen needs some work, history is still a bit buggy, and eventually we'd like the option to delete all history.
As you can see, we have a lot of work to do. Our next post will be about our appearance at the grand opening for the Center for Autism. So stay tuned!
