We spent Monday night making our poster and we're just getting our video done on time! What a crazy week...
Our app is nearly there. The only problems left are aesthetic and it still currently only works perfectly on Aneesha's phone. We've been having trouble with SVN so my brand new xml files are not being committed. We're thinking of resorting back to mailing files back and forth again, just to ensure that everything looks its best for the big day!
I didn't want to give away how our completed poster looks.. so here's a teaser. That's me getting silver sharpie ink all over my hands. It shows up remarkable well on dark surfaces and tan skin. You can't see it from here but Jen has made adorable little weather icons for our weather widget!
Aneesha and Mirabel and still chipping away at the History feature. It works great under the hood but they are making some subtle changes to how the outfits are being displayed. Good stuff! Orginally, the history, favorites, and closet activities all looked the same. Now we've tried to differentiate them from each other with slightly different UIs.
The toughest part of this process so far is version control and displaying image bitmaps correctly on all devices. Something always seems to change or go missing when whenever you boot up Eclipse and check out the project from the SVN Repository.
Creating a poster was also harder than we thought. Since kindergarten, our paper-cutting skills have diminished. We also tried to get fancy with the metallic Sharpies. I think it looks great on my hand, don't you?
